At the weekend, students travelled from across the country to attend a World Mudo Academy Educational Seminar, led by Master Kim Yong Ho and the Venerable Master Kim Sang Tae in Darlington . The morning began with Master Kim Sang Tae who explained the 8 tenents of the Martial Art and continued to educate the students on the Pal Jung Do System. Master Kim Yong Ho followed on from this with exercises designed to focus on the importance of breathing control, allowing students to control their energy. The seminar ended with Master Kim leading the students through various close combat self defence techniques.
The following day Master Kim Yong Ho, Master Kim Sang Tae and representatives of the Mudo Academy of Great Britain, Master Ron Brennan and Master Hannah Hatfield, travelled to Ireland. Here Master Kim Yong Ho led two further Mudo Educational Seminars with Master Kim Sang Tae and Master Stéphane Sandeyron treating students to a demonstration of the Gum.
We would like to thank Master Kim Yong Ho, the Venerable Master Kim Sang Tae and Master Stéphane Sandeyron for traveling to see us and sharing their knowledge of the Martial Art. In addition we would like to thank Master Ron Brennan, President of the Mudo Academy of Great Britain and Irish Mudo President, Master Martin O'Neill for their hospitality and organisation.
